‘RETURN THE FLAVOUR’ TO MOM THIS MAY, IN THE SWEETEST WAY
Baskin-Robbins reintroduces Mom’s Makin’ Cookies, launches new Polar Pizza, Mother’s Day Cakes and Sundae Shakes
TORONTO, ON, May 1, 2018 – Baskin-Robbins pays tribute to mom with the launch of four new menu items and the reintroduction of Mom’s Makin’ Cookies as its May Flavour of the Month.
Mom’s Makin’ Cookies is made with brown sugar flavoured ice cream filled with chocolate chip cookie pieces, chocolate flavoured chips and a cookie dough batter flavoured swirl. The flavour is featured as a double scoop Warm Cookie Sundae with Hot Fudge Topping, and is perfectly paired with any chocolate or salty caramel flavours.
“With the ingredients, aroma and allure of homemade cookies, there’s nothing quite like sharing a Mother’s Day moment with your favourite mom around a scoop or two of Mom’s Makin’ Cookies,” says Baskin-Robbins representative Natalie Joseph. “I have fond memories of my own mother baking warm treats for me growing up, so it’s heart warming to be able to offer our guests this nostalgic treat at such a special time of the year.”
The popular flavour of the month makes its debut as a Polar Pizza – for a limited time only. This Chocolate Chip Cookie lover’s dream features a chocolate chip cookie crust with Mom’s Makin’ Cookies Ice Cream, topped with cookie dough pieces, chocolate sprinkles and drizzled with marshmallow and fudge toppings.
Baskin-Robbins also adds two Mother’s Day cakes to its roaster – the Floral Strip Cake, an elegant design that can be customized with mom’s favourite ice cream flavour and her choice of white or chocolate cake, and the Designer Handbag Cake, a chic and delicious twist on the traditional ice cream cake, made for the mom with designer taste.
Finally, Baskin-Robbins launches Sundae Shakes, a rich and creamy milkshake with a sundae on top, that tops off its flavourful line-up of speciality beverages. Served in a 15 oz parfait cup, guests can customize their Sundae Shake with different ice cream flavours and their choice of a wet topping.
Other seasonal flavours making a comeback this spring include Pink Bubblegum, Mango Mania, and Made with Snickers Ice cream.
