Baskin-Robbins introduces new ice cream treat and delivers perfect pairing promotion with Pizza Pizza

Toronto, ON, August 22, 2016 – Baskin-Robbins Canada today announced that it is introducing its new Polar Pizza at locations nationwide. The novel and flavourful treat, in the shape of a 9-inch pizza, is an ice cream dessert that is available in three flavour combinations: Cookies ‘N Cream, Peanut Butter ‘N Chocolate and REESE’S® Peanut Butter Cup, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Guests also have the option of creating their own customized Polar Pizza by combining a tasty Chocolate Chip Cookie or Double Fudge Brownie crust with their favorite ice cream flavour and any combination of fun toppings.

“Polar Pizza is an ice cream treat you can eat like pizza and it’s the perfect dessert for any occasion,” said Natalie Joseph, Field Marketing Manager for Baskin-Robbins Canada. “It offers customers a unique and memorable sharing moment that is priceless.”

Additionally, Baskin-Robbins Canada has teamed up with Pizza Pizza, Canada’s leading pizza chain, for the perfect pizza pairing. Guests in Ontario will receive a $5 discount* off a large 3-topping pizza and $5 off a Baskin-Robbins Polar Pizza when making a walk-in purchase at any participating Pizza Pizza or Baskin-Robbins Canada location in Ontario from August 22 – October 2..
