TORONTO, ONT, Oct. 2, 2018 – The weather may be cooling, the leaves are changing colours, but certain things will remain the same in the month of October. Baskin-Robbins reintroduces its fall favourite, Pumpkin Cheesecake, as its October Flavour of the Month.
“The moment the leaves start to change colours, that’s when we know it’s the unofficial start of the pumpkin season, says Baskin-Robbins representative, Natalie Joseph. “What better way for Baskin-Robbins to say ‘welcome to the season’ than with a savoury pumpkin cheesecake inspired flavour. We thought it would be great to reintroduce this fall favourite to all our guests who want to start the season off right, with a taste of autumn.”
The seasonal treat is inspired by pumpkin pie; the returning fall favourite flavour is made with a pumpkin puree, brown sugar, orange juice concentrate, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice and has a hint of salt.
And just in time for Thanksgiving, making a comeback this year is the brand’s signature Turkey Cake and just in time for Halloween, the frighteningly friendly and fuzzy Fang-Tastic Monster Cake. Customizable to suit any guest’s favourite flavour, these uniquely designed cakes are the perfect centrepieces to accompany any Thanksgiving meals.
On October 31, Baskin-Robbins Canada will also hold its “Celebrate 31” program where guests receive 31 per cent off all pre-pack ice cream flavours available in-shop.
