Baskin-Robbins introduces new flavour, Cotton Candy Crackle, as April and May flavour of the month – for delivery or take-out where available
TORONTO, Ont., April 15, 2020 – Baskin-Robbins Canada harnesses the love Canadians have for cotton candy with the introduction of its newest flavour, Cotton Candy Crackle. Launched as the brand’s Flavour of the Month for April and offered throughout May, the new flavour packs an exciting jolt of energy in the form of pop rocks that are sure to give a burst of flavour and taste to any sweet tooth.
If nostalgia had a taste, this would be it. This flavour is sure to bring you back to childhood days at the fair. It will remind you of sunshine, friends, fresh air, laughter, and fun. With thousands of flavours that have been created over the years, this one stands far out from the rest with its beautiful colours and decadent taste. This is sure to make every guest – even the most ‘tenured’ or experienced, feel young again.
“In these tense times, people are yearning for a sense of normalcy and lightheartedness,” says Natalie Joseph, Baskin-Robbins Canada representative. “While distribution is limited to a shop-by-stop basis, we’re doing all we can to ensure our employees and customers come first. For the time being, stores are open for delivery and take-out only, with services like UberEats and Skip the Dishes available for home delivery where applicable. A hold has been put on the pink spoon sampling program, and dining rooms have been closed to help flatten the curve in all of our communities. We are hopeful that this bright new flavour will help put smiles on faces. All of us at Baskin-Robbins can’t wait for better days for all.”
Along with the new Flavour of the Month, April also brings about Baskin-Robbins’ Bunny Face Easter cake. Available on a store-by-store basis as well, the cake is made with flavours of your choice and will brighten your day with its cute bunny face, edible ears and icing for a nose – that is sure to make anyone smile. Paired with the Cotton Candy Crackle flavour, and its bright colours, there are sure to help propel guests to hopes of new beginnings and a promising, post-pandemic, springtime.
