Baskin-Robbins helps Canadians celebrate strawberry harvest and Father’s Day
TORONTO, May 30, 2024 – June is a great time to pick berries and celebrate fathers. You can do both this month at Baskin-Robbins’ thanks to two new limited time offers – Buttermilk Strawberry Shortcake and Best Dad by Par Cake, the brand’s newest Flavour of the Month and cake offering.
“There’s a lot of fun in store for our guests this June,” says Natalie Joseph, spokesperson for Baskin-Robbins Canada. “Our culinary team never ceases to amaze me. They’ve yet again crafted a unique blend of timely flavours to help us live the moment, smile with family and friends, and enjoy the sweetness of a delicious dessert. I’m so excited to try both of these new menu options with my own friends and family.”
Buttermilk Strawberry Shortcake features a buttermilk-flavoured ice cream swirled with a strawberry ribbon and mixed with strawberry and buttermilk biscuit pieces. It can be enjoyed in a cup or cone or blended into a delicious milkshake, sundae or incorporated into any cake.
The Best Dad by Par Cake is carefully prepared to look like a golf green with a cup, flag, green, water hazard and ball. Like the brand’s perennial Father’s Day favourite, The Cold One Cake, also available this month, it comes with layers that can comprise any of Baskin-Robbins’ numerous ice cream flavours, carefully prepared into a compact and portable cake with icing also available in any flavour.
This year has been a year of innovation and creativity at Baskin-Robbins. In the first five months, Canada’s leading ice cream shop has launched no less than a dozen new flavours and items.
